Financial Pathways Announces a New Community Award

Financial Pathways of the Piedmont (FPP) is the community’s financial health first responder. Our entire mission and history centers on helping residents improve their financial well-being by providing professional, personal, and comprehensive financial counseling, housing counseling, and financial education to all members of the community.

Now more than ever, the current global pandemic and financial challenges have brought to light those unsung heroes in our community that make life a bit easier for those with barriers or challenges. To honor those heroes and to celebrate our organization’s 50th anniversary of serving the community, Financial Pathways of the Piedmont is launching an annual award entitled the FPP Financial Health First Responder Award. This award will recognize individuals from the community who:

  • exemplify the mission of Financial Pathways of the Piedmont
  • embody the values of being a financial health first responder within their organization, company, or financial institution
  • have gone above and beyond to help individuals improve their financial health and overall wellbeing

We understand these are difficult times for many families and understand the complexities of juggling priorities with limited means. One of the ways we are assisting individuals and families is via rental counseling, which helps renters navigate their options to maintain housing. If you are behind on your rent, contact us to schedule an appointment with one of our certified Housing Counselors. The counselor will review your credit report, budget, and finances to develop an action plan to help you manage your money and pay your rent on time.

Partner Workshops

Financial Pathways of the Piedmont provides individualized counseling and coaching services. We educate and provide workshops that coach individuals through financial life cycles including student loan counseling, budgeting for success, and achieving financial goals such as homeownership or retirement. While we hold monthly public workshops, we are also proud to provide foundational financial literacy services and workshops to enhance and ensure key outcomes for clients of our partner organizations.
